| Aim to support companies with little or no export experience to step up to a new or partly new foreign market. PSOM advices and guides with formulating and execution of international strategies as well as contributes to some of the activities mentioned in these strategies. PSOM can be implemented in all countries. EVD implements the regulation in co-operation with the local Chambers of Commerce and export promoting trade organisations. PUM has senior advisors available in practically every field of agriculture, industry and trade but also in the fields of health care, management and public sector services. | Any local private or state company which is independent and works commercially can apply to PUM. The condition is that it is not subsidiary to a foreign or multinational company. | |
| There has to be a reasonable relationship between the costs of the mission -e.g. travelling expenses to the country in question, insurance, administrative costs and the like- and the result to be expected. | |
| The company requesting a manager pays the local costs, such as accommodation, cost of living, transport and office facilities. | |
