| The Economic and Trade Section |
| Welcome to the Economic and Trade Section of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Belgrade. This page is dedicated to provide commercial and trade assistance to Dutch and Serbia and Montenegro companies. The main task of the Economic and Trade Section is to promote Dutch economic and commercial interests in Serbia and Montenegro and is considered as an instrument in match making between the Netherlands and Serbia and Montenegro companies. The section assists Dutch companies, that want to export/import their products or services to Serbia and Montenegro and companies in Serbia and Montenegro that want to find a supplier or subcontractor in the Netherlands. |
| The following assistance is given to individual companies: |
| • information about foreign investment procedure and the business climate in Serbia and Montenegro, |
| • information about trade fairs, |
| • references to other sources of information, |
| • names of potential agents, business partners, |
| • advice about how to handle certain business related problems, |
| • help in establishing contacts, etc. |
| Economic and Trade Section can only provide services that are not an intrinsic part of the work of the company itself or of the agent: e.g. the Section can suggest names of possible agents, but cannot go into the selection process; the Section can give general market information, but will refer to other parties for detailed market research. |
