After 17 years two banks of the river Danube were connected again by the ferryboat. Ride on the ferryboat is free, it lasts 12 minutes and it communicates every hour from 7 to 19.

This project was supported by the Netherlands Government and by the Municipalities of Vukovar and Bač. Croatian and Serbian Governments also supported it by signing the Statement on establishing traffic on Danube in 2005. The Netherlands Government is financing (about 1.5 mil €) a ferryboat which and will replace this small existing ferryboat.
