The Netherlands as the friendship country at the School of Freindship

Every year since 2001 the Serbian NGO "Naša Srbija" organises a School of Friendship on Tara Mountain. This year the Netherlands was the friendship country of the School of Friendship, which took place from 29 July to 3 August. During the Day of the Netherlands the children had the opportunity to learn about the Dutch history, culture and tradition and to compete and win interesting prizes. In total, 160 children took part in the School, being 6th and 7th grade pupils of Serbian, Albanian, Hungarian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Slovakian, Ruthenian, Romanian and Roma origin, who live in different parts of the Republic of Serbia (Tupale, Brodarevo, Dimitrovgrad, Bački Petrovac, Ruski Krstur, Kanjiža and Nikolinci).
