Economic Cooperation/PESP Programme
PESP is a programme designed to strengthen the bilateral economic co-operation between the Netherlands and non-OECD countries (including Serbia and Montenegro) with the aim of increasing the likelihood of future export orders for Dutch companies.

Dutch companies and consortiums can submit proposals for activities leading up to export transactions. Each project should be a tangible project, with a Serbian or Montenegrin counterpart.

The activities may be feasibility studies, project identification, and investment preparation studies. These activities must result in early familiarisation of the foreign party with the offers of Dutch companies, and an increased probability of the Dutch business community acquiring orders in the project implementation phase. PESP is not applicable for market research or acquisition activities of individual companies.

Project proposals are submitted to Senter, the executive agency of the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs, which evaluates and selects the projects. The maximum contribution is 2/3 of the estimated costs of a project to a maximum of 140.000 Euro.
